British police have fined Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for driving a car without wearing his seatbelt.
London:
British police on Friday fined Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for driving a car without wearing his seatbelt to film a clip for social media.
Sunak, who apologized on Thursday for what he said was a “brief lapse in judgement”, filmed video from the back seat of his car as he traveled through the north of England, without wearing a seatbelt.
“Following the release of a video on social media showing an individual not wearing his seatbelt while being a passenger in a moving car in Lancashire, we have today addressed a 42-year-old man London a conditional offer of a fixed fine,” Lancashire Police said on Twitter.
