The 11th Sea of Thieves adventure – The Secret Wilds – is live and available to any sailor brave enough to take it on. However, they will have to hurry because with the tide it will be gone February 2.
In it, you will wear the mask of the infamous Captain Briggsy to navigate memories of the past and discover precious keepsakes hidden across the seas. For starters, head to Madame Olivier at Plunder Outpost, before heading off to hunt down the rest and discover more about Briggsy and the cure for her fleshless condition.
To start the quest, you need to sail to the tavern and talk to Larinna, who will start your adventure. Once you’ve got that down, you might want to try out some PvP as well, as the matchmaking system just got a much-requested update that will hopefully help you find matches faster than before.
This was done by adding battles from the same faction, which should increase the number of available opponents at any one time and make the process a lot more exciting. We hope PvP players have a better time from now on.
Sea of Thieves has been going full sail for a while now and shows no signs of losing the wind at their backs. While continuing adventures keep players sharp and in the game, the PvP update improving the permanent content goes a long way toward keeping it a quality product all these years down the road.
