Check out some Lies of P gameplay running on AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX at 8K resolution

A new Lies of P video has been released, showing off new content from the game running on AMD’s new Radeon RX 7900 XTX at 8K resolution.

Of course you need an 8K monitor to see the benefits, but in this video it still looks nice regardless of the monitor used.

Neowiz’s action souls-like is a twist on the classic tale of Pinocchio, set in a dark world inspired by Europe’s Belle Epoque era. In the game, you guide Pinocchio on his journey to become human as you wander through Krat, a collapsed city with no prosperity where the inhabitants are mad and full of bloodlust.

But unlike the original story published in the Italian magazine Giornale per i bambini, or the Disney movie, P is a puppet mechanoid who has to lie to become human. In search of a mysterious person named Geppetto, P discovers that becoming more human has all its advantages and disadvantages. P fights through everyone in his path and finds no help from the people he meets along the way, and he cannot trust anyone.

With interconnected and procedural missions, they will all play out differently depending on how you lie. These choices will then affect how the story ends as there are multiple endings.

To aid in combat, you can combine weapons in different ways to create something new, and research will help find the best combinations.

Since P is a puppet, you can change parts of his body to gain new skills and an edge in battle. But not all improvements are for combat, as they can provide several unique and useful features.

Lies of P is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this year and launches on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
